KOCHARIAN THANKS WEIGHTLIFTERS

On May 2 RoA President Robert Kocharian received Armenian
weightlifters, the winners of the European Weightlifting Championship
held in Strasburg.
Robert Kocharian congratulated the team on the victory and thanked
the weightlifters for their active participation.
"This was the first victory after Armenia proclaimed its
independence. The victory will encourage other Armenian sportsmen,"
Robert Kocahrian says.
According to Gagik Tsarukyan, the President of the National Olympic
Committee, the President’s attention towards the sport contributed
to the victory.
