ARMENIA: NO PARTY TO WIN MAJORITY IN ELECTIONS

No party is likely to win an absolute majority in Armenia’s May 12
parliamentary elections, Armenia’s Sociometer Center reported May 3.

Recent poll numbers show that, of the 57 percent of voters who have
already made a decision, 34 percent sympathize with the Republican
Party of Armenia, 32 percent support Prospering Armenia, 12 percent
support the Country of Law party, 11.2 percent support Armenian
Revolutionary Federation Dashnaktsutyun and 7 percent support
National Unity.
