An Iraqi Armenian was shot dead in Baghdad for unknown reasons.

Ohan Apraham Yenovkian, 36, was shot dead by gunmen after he had
left the house of a well-known wealthy Armenian he was guarding. The
wealthy Armenian had fled the country to escape the kidnapping wave
of wealthy people to get ransoms.

Since the US invasion in 2003, 31 Iraqi Armenians were killed. 28
others were kidnapped, 25 of them returned to their families after
paying ransoms, fate of other two people are still unknown, the body
of the third kidnapped was returned to his family.
