need the help and assistance of the law-enforcement bodies,’ Garegin
Azaryan stated.
The Deputy Head of the Armenian Police Hovhannes Varyan stated that on
the day of elections the public order will be secured by 8000
policemen. He informed that all the publishing houses, where the
ballots are being published, are already under the supervision of the
Police. Starting from May 11, the Police will also start guarding all
the 1.923 polling stations.
The Deputy Prosecutor General of Armenia Gevork Danielian clarified
the differences between the frauds, which can take place during the

electoral right of the citizens and the ones resulting in criminal
responsibility,’ he noted, adding that `when we talk about he
electoral right, we mean only the subjective violations, which have
nothing to do with the legal norms.’
