FORMER RA FOREIGN MINISTER ALEXANDER ARZUMANIAN ARRESTED

YEREVAN, MAY 8, NOYAN TAPAN. RA National Security Service employees
arrested on late May 7 former RA Foreign Minister Alexander Arzumanian
with the doubt on committing a crime according to Article 190 of the
RA Criminal Code (legalization of profits got in illegal ways). The
Haykakan Zhamanak (Armenian Time) daily states about it.

To recap, a criminal action was brought on May 5 against A. Arzumanian
and former RA Deputy Minister of Defence Vahan Shirkhanian. Within
the framework of the action their flats were searched on the same day.
