More Armenians fall victims in Violence in Iraq

An Iraqi Armenian woman was killed in Baghdad after a roadside bomb
hit US vehicles raising the death toll of the Iraqi Armenians in the
country to 30 since the US invasion in 2003.
Zaruhi Karabet, 79, was killed while being in her house in
El-Belediyat district in Baghdad after a roadside bomb hit US vehicles
which was followed by fire exchange. Gun bullets penetrated Zaruhi’s
house and ended her life at once.
Three weeks ago, another Iraqi Armenian, Nazar Melikian, 29, was
killed in a car bomb in Karada district in Baghdad.
