RUSSIA CONTINUES EVACUATION OF MILITARY PROPERTY FROM ITS MILITARY BASES IN GEORGIA

Igor Konashenkov, aide to the Commander of the Russian Ground Forces,
reports that Russia continues the evacuation of military property
from its military bases in Georgia.
Konashenkov said: "On May 4, we plan to send the fourth automotive
column with military property from the 62nd Russian military base in
Akhalkalaki (Georgia) to the 102nd Russian base in Gyumri (Armenia)."
According to Konashenkov, overall until the end of the year, it
is planned to send two automotive columns from Georgia to Gyumri
(Armenia). It is also planned to send 19 military trains with armament,
hardware and property of the Russian military bases from Georgia to
Russia and to the 102nd base in Armenia. The departure of the first
train is scheduled for the middle of May.
