ON OCCASION OF YERKRAPAH DAY RA DEFENCE MINISTER ADDRESSES CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE TO YERKRAPAH VOLUNTEERS

YEREVAN, MAY 8, NOYAN TAPAN. RA Defence Ministry addresses all
words of honoring and appreciation voiced on the occasion of 15th
anniversary of army formation to yerkrapahs. As it was mentioned in
RA Defence Minister Mikayel Haroutiunian’s address on the occasion of
Yerkrapah Day and 15th anniversary of Shoushi liberation, it was the
very yerkrapahs who stood side by side with a motive to defend the
country, they were both soldiers and commanders, swore to come back
with a victory and built victory on all fronts of Artsakh liberation
struggle. "Newly formed subdivisions of the National Army originated
from the yerkrapahs and in the very trenches its conscripts who
had just turned 18 learnt lessons of deed and victory. The enemy was
defeated by the strength of your collective force, dear yerkrapahs. And
Shoushi liberation was the first among the desirable victories,"
the message of the Defence Minister said.
