TANER ACSAM: "I DEDICATE THIS PRIZE TO MY SLAIN FRIEND HRANT DINK"

Turkish historian Taner Acsam’s book titled "A Shameful Act: The
Armenian Genocide and the Question of Turkish Responsibility" was
awarded a Minnesota Book Prize.

US based Startribune newspaper informs that when handing the prize the
jury characterized the book as "a progressive work" and assured that
with this book Acsam "challenges the denial of the Armenian Genocide."

Taner Acsam made a speech at Minnesota University, during which he
said: "I dedicate this prize to my slain friend Hrant Dink."
