2,285,830 CITIZENS ENFRANCHISED TO VOTE ON MAY 12

2,285,830 citizens of Armenia have franchise for the upcoming
parliamentary elections of May 12, First Deputy Chief of Police,
Lieutenant-General Ararat Mahtesyan said this in Yerevan today,
referring to the results of the clean-up of the voting lists carried
out April 2 to May 9.
After the clean-up of voting lists the number of electors decreased
with 43 thousand. In particular, information on 9,607 dead, 26,323
citizens having changed their address and 9,097 citizens on military
service, was revealed.
