ARMENIA’S SHARE IN RUSSIAN ALCOHOLIC DRINKS IMPORTS IS 8.3 PERCENT

MOSCOW, MAY 9, ARMENPRESS: Armenia’s share in Russia’s strong alcoholic
drinks imports in the first quarter of this year was 8.3 percent,
according to the figures released by the Russian National Alcoholic
Association.

Russia imported most of alcoholic drinks from Ukraine (38.3 percent),
followed by France with 15.4 percent, Azerbaijan (10.4 percent)
and Great Britain (9.5) percent.

In the first quarter Russia imported a total of $233 million worth
alcoholic drinks (or 39 million liters). The growth rate from a year
ago was 25.8 percent.
