On May 5 the meeting of the NKR Central Electoral Commission
took place. The chair of the CEC Sergey Nasibian said by May 4
two initiative groups and one party naming president had submitted
documents with the CEC. On May 4 another two initiative groups naming
the deputy foreign minister of NKR Masis Mayilyan and Member of
Parliament Armen Abgaryan submitted their documents with the CEC. The
NKR CEC registered the initiative groups after hearing the conclusions
of the working group which checked the legal validity of the lists
submitted by the initiative groups.
