SARGIS MURADKHANIAN: MEMORANDUM SIGNED BY CANDIDATES IN ELECTORAL
DISTRICT NO 4 WAS NOT VIOLATED
YEREVAN, MAY 13, NOYAN TAPAN. An unprecedented high turn-out of voters
has been observed at these elections. Sargis Muradkhanian, member of
the "National Unity" party, candidate nominated by the majoritarian
electoral system at electoral district No 4, said during a talk with
NT correspondent that the majority of people participated in the
elections in expectation of possible changes in the country.
According to him, the memorandum on free and fair elections in
electoral district No 4 of Arablir community, which was signed by the
candidates, was not violated. S. Muradkhanian noted that the voting in
polling station 4/18 was interrupted for some time with the aim of
regulating the process of voting duu to the large number of voters.
