PRICES OF DETACHED HOUSES GO UP

In the first quarter of 2007 270 real estate deals were made, which is
down by 0.4 percent compared with the fourth quarter of 2006 but up
by 67.7 percent compared with the first quarter of 2006. The highest
number of deals, 35.9 percent, were made in Stepanakert. Only 1.1
percent of all deals were in Kashatagh.

Most deals are on apartments and detached houses, 19.3 percent and
25.2 percent respectively. In the first quarter of 2007 68 deals on
detached houses were made, which is up by 13.3 percent compared with
the fourth quarter of 2006 and 65.9 percent compared with the first
quarter of 2006. 32.3 percent of transactions were in Stepanakert.

In the fourth quarter of 2006 a detached house, with housing space of
200 sq m and a garden of 1000 sq m cost approximately 46 100 dollars,
in the first quarter of 2006 a similar house cost 50 350 dollars. In
Askeran the prices of houses went up from 8300 to 8950, in Martuni
from 7500 to 8050, Martakert from 5050 to 5400, in Hadrut from 5450
to 5800, in Shushi from 5450 to 5900 dollars.
