RPA SUCCEEDS AS A RESULT OF ACTIVE WORK OF ITS HEADQUARTERS, GARNIK ISAGULIAN SAYS
Noyan Tapan
May 17 2007
YEREVAN, MAY 17, NOYAN TAPAN. The success of the Republican Party of
Armenia (RPA) in the May 12 parliamentary elections is conditioned
by 24-hour active work of headquarters and offices of that political
force. Garnik Isagulian, Adviser to RA President for issues of national
security, Chairman of National Security Party, expressed such an
opinion at the May 17 press conference. He reminded that the surveys
conducted by the party headed by him in the preelectoral period "showed
the very picture, which was formed as a result of the elections."
As G. Isagulian affirmed, if the Armenian opposition does not manage
to nominate a common candidate for the 2008 presidential elections,
in will fail.
Touching upon the overheard talk of Orinats Yerkir (Country of Law)
Chairman Artur Baghdasarian and the British diplomat, G. Isagulian gave
assurance that it was recorded and provided to various oppositionists
by the very representatives of OYP to show that they enjoy respect
among foreigners.
