"ZOV MRAVA" ("MRAV’S CALL") CONFERENCE DEVOTED TO NAGORNO-KARABAGH TO BE HELD IN MOSCOW

Current May 27 the "Zov Mrava" ("Mrav’s Call") conference devoted to
the history and fate of the territories of the contemporary Shahumian
region of the Nagorno-Karabagh (Artsakh) northern region will be held
in Moscow, at the Central House of Writer.

According to the information DE FACTO received at the Yerkramas,
the newspaper of Armenians of Russia, the measure had been initiated
by the NKR Representation in RF, Union of Armenian Youth "Mitq"
("Thought"), Russian-Armenian Commonwealth (ARFD Hay Dat Moscow
office). The conference is targeted at wide audience’s acquaintance
with ethnography, culture and historical events that have influenced
on the fate of the contemporary Shahumian region.

INFORMATION: Mrav Mountain is on the territory of the Shahumian region,
in the Nagorno-Karabagh’s northern region. It is the land’s symbol,
just like Ararat is Armenia’s symbol. The Shahumian region has been
controlled by Azerbaijan since 1992.
