Armavir investigation department finished preliminary investigation of
a case instituted for an attempt to impede free will of voters. The
investigation unveiled that Yeghishe Sargsyan has made a promise
of 10,000 Armenian drams to B. Grigoryan, A. Khachatryan and
G. Kirakosyan in an intention to impede their free will as voters,
prosecutor general web portal reports.
The persons were supposed to vote for Alexan Petrosyan in election
community 21 against the promised bribe.
In case of opportunity, they were supposed to attract other
voters. Yeghishe Petrosyan did not manage to accomplish his intention
since other candidate’s election office employees notified law
enforcement bodies on the case, being notified by ordinary citizens
themselves.
