ARMENIA READY TO DEEPEN COOPERATION WITH LEBANON IN MILITARY AND TECHNICAL MILITARY

YEREVAN, May 21. /ARKA/. Armenia is ready to deepen cooperation with
Lebanon in the spheres of military and technical military.

The press secretary of the RA Defense Ministry, Colonel Seyran
Shahsuvaryan reported that Defense Minister Mikayel Haroutiunian
said this during his meeting with Lebanon’s Ambassador to Armenia
Gabriel Geara.

Geara congratulated Haroutiunian on his appointment to the post of
the Defense Minister and shortly presented him the military-political
situation in Lebanon.

Touching upon the bilateral relations, Geare pointed out that though
the Armenian-Lebanese relations are dynamically developing, still
there is unused potential.

He pointed out that the essential part of the developing cooperation
between the countries is the activation of contacts at every level.

The sides also touched upon the issues of regional security.
