COMMITTEE SAYS TELEMARKET SELLS CHINESE PRODUCTS UNDER EUROPEAN NAME

The Economic Competition Protection State Committee has opened
administrative procedures against Telemarket based on publications of
My Right, 186 Hour and Azg newspapers. Armine Udumyan, press secretary
of the committee, said the committee has unveiled a fact of "indecent
competition," which will be discussed on May 23.
In one of its publications, My Right newspaper wrote about a citizen
who bought an electric broom and it broke after a couple of days. The
shop asked for an additional sum to repair the broom despite of
warranty period.
The committee unveiled that some of the products, which are advertised
as European, are of Chinese production.
