DELEGATION OF YEREVAN MAYOR’S OFFICE LEAVES FOR SAINT PETERSBURG

YEREVAN, MAY 23, NOYAN TAPAN. At the invitation of Saint Petersburg
Governor Valentina Matvienko, the delegation headed by Yerevan Mayor
Yervand Zakharian will pay an official visit to Saint Petersburg on
May 23-25. It is envisaged to sign within the framework of the visit
the 2007-2009 cooperation program of the two cities, the agreement
concerning preparation of which was reached in 2005 during the meeting
taken place in Yerevan between Y. Zakharian and V. Matvienko.
As Noyan Tapan was informed by the Information and Public Relations
Department of the Yerevan Mayor’s Office, other issues of cooperation
between Yerevan and Saint Petersburg will also be discussed during
the bilateral meeting.
