Staffs of electoral commissions will change

The central, district and local commissions will include 9 members
each. Each parliament faction may appoint two members of the Central
Electoral Commission. The parliament group ARF Dashnaktsutyun `
Movement 88, which was reshaped into a faction after the amendments to
the regulations of the NKR parliament, also put up two members.

We have learned that the faction appointed two members of the ARF
Dashnaktsutyun. Movement 88 will have no representatives to the
CEC. Each member of the CEC will appoint a member to the district
commission who will appoint a member to the local commissions. Sergey
Nasibyan, chair of the CEC, told the KarabakhOpen the district
commissions should be formed no earlier than 19 days and no later than
16 days before the voting.

According to Sergey Nasibyan, the Electoral Code, the law on
amendments signed by the president a few days ago will be published
soon. The code will be published in Armenian and English. Later the
Russian version will appear. The code will be available on the web
site of the CEC.

In answer to the question if the voters’ registers will be available
on the web site, Sergey Nasibyan said they will not manage before this
parliamentary election. It will start from January 1. From January 1
the training of members of commissions will be launched because
according to the Electoral Code the members of the commission must
have special training.
