The CIS Power Council Meets In Yerevan

THE CIS POWER COUNCIL MEETS IN YEREVAN

The 31st sitting of CIS Power council is held in Yerevan under
the direction of Anatoly Chubays, chairman of RAO UES Russia. The
participants will discuss project on cooperation principles of
CIS energy networks’ providers in conditions of integrated power
market. The other issues of agenda are the summarizing of results
of energy networks’ operation for 2006-2007 autumn-winter period,
issues of cooperation between European 23 power network providers and
CIS and Baltic countries’ technical and economic networks. CIS power
engineers will suggest new directions for intergovernmental market
relations development, basing on which the papers on main technical
parameters will be elaborated.
