CHUBAIS SATISFIED WITH ARMENIAN DISTRIBUTION NETWORKS ACHIEVEMENTS

"RAO UES Russia" gives a positive assessment to the activity of
"Armenian energy-distribution networks" company, Anatoly Chubais
informed at the press-conference summarizing the results of the 31st
meeting of CIS Power Council in Yerevan.
According to RAO UES Russia Board chairman, despite the negative
response of "Interenergo" company upon purchasing the networks,
it succeeded to raise the cooperation to a high level. "Political
authorities of Armenia highly appreciate the company’s activity", – he
noted. At that moment the company had to assure the 100% collection of
energy payments and reduce the losses, Chubais reminds. "The first goal
is achieved – the company provides 100% payments collection nowadays,
moreover, the energy losses level is much reduced", – he informed.
