PM SERGE SARGSYAN RECEIVED POLAND’S MINISTER OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS

RA Prime Minister Serge Sargsyan received the delegation headed
by the Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration of Poland
Janusz Kaczmarek. The Prime Minister noted with appreciation that
Armenian-Polish relations are actively developing in the framework
of both bilateral and multilateral cooperation. He underlined that
the European direction is a priority for Armenia and creates broad
opportunities for deepening the dialogue with EU member states and
make practical use of the opportunities provided by the European
Neighborhood Policy. Serge Sargsyan noted that Armenia views Poland
as one of the main partners and will try to use Poland’s opportunities
for closer integration into European structures, anticipating Poland’s
participation in the execution of the Action Plan.

Emphasizing Armenia’s role in the region, the Polish Minister of
Internal Affairs and Administration of noted Poland supports Armenia’s
European integration process and is glad for enlarging cooperation
and willing to present the Polish experience.

The parties stressed the importance of establishing a task force that
will investigate the structural, functional and other questions and
will present it to the parties.

Mr. Janusz Kaczmarek also congratulated the Prime Minister on holding
successful parliamentary elections.
