YEREVAN, JUNE 1, NOYAN TAPAN. Over 200 exclusive and symbolic exhibits
granted by the depository of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiatzin,
Armenian Museum of History and Mesrop Mashtots Matenadaran will
be returned to Armenia before June 20 after being presented at the
exhibition, headed "Holy Armenia" in the museum of Louvre. The show
consisting of 6 parts representing the 4-18th centuries continued
from February 17 to May 15.

As Hasmik Poghosian, RA Minister of Culture and Youth Affairs,
reported on June 1, the greatest part of the exhibits has already been
dismantled and it will be brought to Armenia on June 19 by air. In
her words, they have arranged with the management of the Louvre
museum that those exhibits can also be displayed at the Armenian
Museum of History in August and September after bringing them back
to Armenia. In H. Poghosian’s words, the exhibition will have the
same appearance as it had in Louvre.

From: Emil Lazarian | Ararat NewsPress

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
