RA PRESIDNET NOT AWARE ABOUT THE SOURCE OF BRYZA’S OPTIMISM

RA President Robert Kocharyan said in an interview with Mediamax
that he is not aware of the source of optimism of the US Co-Chair of
the OSCE Minsk Group. The President said this commenting on Matthew
Bryza’s words that Armenia and Azerbaijan "have registered considerable
progress" in the Karabakh settlement process" and "if Kocharyan-Aliyev
meeting in Saint Petersburg succeeds, the number of discrepancies on
the basic principles of settlement can reduce."

"I’m not aware of the source of the mediator’s optimism. The current
state of the negotiation process and the famous statements made by
the Azeri side leave little opportunity for anticipating a positive
outcome," Robert Kocharyan said.
