"It would be correct to submit the issue on attempts of Azerbaijan and
Turkey to exclude Armenia from the international policy for the UN
discussion", Director of the Institute- museum of the Armenian Genocide
Haik Demoyan said at today’s Round Table titled "Possible development
of the negotiation process on the Karabakh conflict".

In his opinion, one issue stands before Armenia now: if it is able to
coexist in the region near Azerbaijan, which keeps on considering
Armenia as a rival? "In this sense, the Azerbaijani community is ill,
it is "coded" and it is not alone from this point of view – its Big
Brother (Turkey – ed.) appears as an associate", Demoyan said. He added
that a complex approach acts against Armenia, and fulfillment of
regional projects, from which Armenia’s participation is excluded, is a
visible part only. As for the
position of Armenia, Demoyan said that official Yerevan is short of
aggression. "Two ethnically allied states try to rule out Armenia not
only of the regional projects but of the international policy as well.
The issue should be raised in the UN and it would be a good preventive
step", H. Demoyan said and added "it is necessary to realize who we
negotiate with and who we intend to go towards consensus with".

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
