"Now it is a very favorable moment for the Nagorno-Karabagh conflict
settlement, and the parties have never been so close to reaching an
agreement", OSCE Chair-in-Office, Spanish FM Miguel Angel Moratinos
stated in the course of a press conference held in Baku June 4, IA
REGNUM reports. In Moratinos’s words, OSCE wishes the conflict to be
settled taking into consideration the parties’ interests.
He added a lot of parties, including OSCE and the international
community, were interested in the conflict settlement. "OSCE will do
its best to secure real steps in this direction in the course of the
Armenian and Azeri Presidents’ meeting to be held in St. Petersburg
June 10. However, the final decision depends on the parties,"
Moratinos underscored.
