ARMENIAN GOVERNMENT RESIGNED

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ According to the 55th article of the RA Constitution
and taking into account the fact that the first session of the newly
elected Armenian Parliament is scheduled for June 7, 2007, Armenian
President Robert Kocharian signed an order on resigning the government
of the Republic of Armenia, the Presidential Press Office reports. The
RA President ordered the members of the resigned government to continue
to perform their duties till formation of the new government.

According to the RA Constitution, on the day of the first session
of the newly elected National Assembly the government declares
resignation. Ten days following that resignation the new Prime Minister
is being appointed, and during the following 20 days the premier must
form the future cabinet.
