It is time to work and not to grieve, "Prosperous Armenia" party
leader Gagik Tsarukyan told journalists asked if he is satisfied with
the parliamentary election results. "I makes no difference if I am
satisfied with the election results or not".
Certainly, I had great expectations. However, we participated in the
election not for mandates or posts but for fulfillment of programmes
for the welfare of the people. We shall nominate professionals for the
ministerial posts, but if they fail to live up to the people’s hopes,
we shall recall them", the deputy said.
He also said that the "Prosperous Armenia" party was claiming from
the beginning that it did not intend to give pre-electoral bribes to
receive the electors’ votes. To recall, upon the election results,
the "Prosperous Armenia" party received 25 deputy mandates: 18 by
proportional system and 7 by the majority one.
