POLITICAL SCIENTIST SAYS KARABAKH OUSTED FROM NEGOTIATIONS UNDER MEDIATORS’ PRESSURES

"Nagorno Karabakh conflict is about self-determation," Suren Zolyan,
political scientist, told reporters at Urbat Club. He also said
Karabakh referendum states that Nagorno Karabakh can define the
formats of cooperation with other countries. Answering to a reporter
comment that Nagorno Karabakh was left out of negotiations because
President Kocharyan consented to it, Zolyan said, "it was imposed
by mediators." The international community leaves Karabakh with the
only option to be part of Armenia through its isolationist policies,
Zolyan said.
