AVIAINFOTEL COMPANY SEEKS TO OPEN OFFICE IN AUSTRIA

YEREVAN, JUNE 15, NOYAN TAPAN. The information technology Aviainfotel
company (Armenia) seeks to open a European respresentation office in
Austria, the company’s chief engineer Samvel Muradian said during a
talk with NT correspondent.
According to him, Aviainfotel already has on office in India. This
office as well as the one to open in Austria will be mainly engaged
in market promotion of the Total Airport Management Information System.
S. Muradian said that the system was installed at Yerevan’s Zvartnots
Airport a few years ago. The airport’s manager – Aeropuertos Arjentina
company uses some components of the system at the airport of Buenos
Aires.
In the words of the chief engineer, even in case of occupying only 1-2%
of the international market of airport management information systems,
the company will achieve a considerable inflow of funds.
It was mentioned that information about Zvartnots Airport’s cargo
and passemger transportation, customs, border, financial and other
processes is received and transferred through a computer network
– without sound transmission of the data. The information system
functions by providing information about processes in each facility
subject to management, which is shown on a map. S. Muradian noted that
Zvartnots’ Total Airport Management Information System is constantly
improved.
