THE KARABAKH CONFLICT MUST BE RESOLVED IN A MILITARY WAY, AZERI MP SAYS

The Karabakh conflict can be resolved in a military way, Azeri MP
Fazayil Aghamali declared during the Saturday sitting of Milli Majlis.

"Negotiations have been under way for many years. These, however,
yielded no results. Therefore, this conflict must be resolved in
a military way, and it is necessary to gradually prepare the Azeri
society for it," he said.

The Deputy noted that when considering the 2008 budget of the republic,
"it is primarily necessary to pay attention to defense issues. This way
we shall gradually prepare Azerbaijan for declaring war to Armenia."

In his turn, MP Panah Huseinov declared that "the Azeri Government
must undertake certain steps in this direction and the opposition is
ready to render any support to the Government."
