Three Employees Of Transport And Communication Ministry Charged With

THREE EMPLOYEES OF TRANSPORT AND COMMUNICATION MINISTRY CHARGED WITH MISAPPROPRIATION ON A LARGE SCALE AND FORGERY IN PUBLIC OFFICE

Armenian Prosecutor General’s Office Investigation Department has
completed investigating the criminal case upon misappropriation on
a large scale and forgery in public office, the Prosecutor General’s
Office press-service reports.

The investigation showed that Deputy Director of SCJSC "Special
Communication," Ministry of Transport and Communication, A. Muradyan
overused power and conspired with G. Khachatryan, the head of
argo traffic department of the same company, and A. Baghdasaryan,
the courier, to forge documents. As a result, 2,527,077 AMD were
misappropriated. Therefore, A. Muradyan and G. Khachatryan are charged
with Article 179, part 2, points 1,2 and Article 314 party 1 of the
Armenian Criminal Code. A. Baghdasaryan is charged with Article 179
part 2, points 2,3 and Article 325 part 2 of the Armenian Criminal
Code. The criminal case has been submitted to the First Instance
Court of Yerevan Centre and Nork-Marash communities.
