/PanARMENIAN.Net/ The UN Security Council has launched closed-door
consultations on the third draft Kosovo resolution elaborated by the
UK, U.S. and France. The resolution provides for 120 days of talks
to Belgrade and Pristina. If the sides fail to reach an agreement,
Kosovo Albanians should be granted independence automatically, the
authors say.

Russia has demonstrated no support to the draft. It’s erroneous to
offer the sides a situation when one of them is directly interested
in failure of the talks, said Vitaly Churkin, Russia’s permanent
representatives in the UN, Vesti reports.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
