YEREVAN, JUNE 25, NOYAN TAPAN. The Armenian international
interproffesional group intends to export production of Armenian
enterprises to European market. The deputy chairman of the group
Daniel Yeremian said at the June 25 press conference that the group
members have already visited enterprises engaged in meat and cheese
production and agricultural food processing.
According to D. Yeremian, the ecologically pure Armenian production is
not inferior to European one by its quality, however, being exported
to foreign market, it has to adapt to the existing conditions
and try to maintain its competitiveness in that market. He said
that today Armenian products are mainly competitive in the Russian
market. Armenian goods should be exported to more countries. In order
to achieve success in European market, in his opinion, Armenian
enterprises should first of all establish themselves within the
country, acquire the necessary skills and modernize supply networks.
"Armenian production can be especially competitive in the French
market as it is new, and more importantly, pure for the French,"
D. Yeremian noted.
