ARMENIAN PM: ARMENIA MUST CREATE THE BEST CONDITIONS IN THE REGION FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT AND INVESTMENTS ATTRACTION

Armenia must create the best conditions in the region to develop
entrepreneurship and attract investments. It is necessary for giving
the country competition privileges, Armenian Prime Minister Serzh
Sargsyan said when submitting the Government activity programme for
endorsement of the Parliament, Tuesday.
The premier said that the programme attaches special importance to the
sphere of production, chemical industry, construction, agriculture
and science. Moreover, the premier is sure that the country must
have competition privileges in such spheres as education, health,
information technologies, organized rest, and financial services. In
addition, these privileges must be accessible not only to the citizens
of Armenia, but also to the region and the world. Big enterprises
in the above spheres must be reorganized into socially responsible
public companies. Both the citizens of Armenia and foreign investors
must be given an opportunity to have a share in the capital of these
companies. To solve this task, the Government is ready to create
necessary conditions and infrastructures.
