Yerevan, 26 June: The Armenian cabinet is planning to draw up and
implement a "government-private sector" concept, Armenian Prime
Minister Serzh Sargsyan said at the National Assembly [parliament]
while presenting the cabinet’s 5-year programme.
Sargsyan said that under this concept the government and the private
sector will draw up and implement national programmes crucial for the
country. The government, however, will not interfere in the spheres
where the private sector is capable of ensuring development on its
own. The government will refrain from actions that can result in
changes on the market. On the contrary, Sargsyan said, it should
assist private businesses in using the best experience and knowledge.
