NKR MFA APPLIES TO AMBASSADOR ANDRZEJ KASPRZYK

June 27 the NKR Ministry of Foreign Affairs conveyed a note to the
Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office for Nagorno
Karabakh, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, in which it expressed concern
over the arsons on the contact line of the Armed Forces of NKR and
Azerbaijan.
NKR MFA Press Service informs that taking into consideration that last
year fires caused damage to the republic’s economy and the environment,
affected people’s health and security, the NKR MFA has applied to the
Office of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office
demanding to conduct monitoring of the contact line. The Ministry of
Foreign Affairs hopes that the timely interference of the Office of
the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office will allow
to avoid the reoccurrence of last year’s situation, which the Azeri
authorities used for propaganda purposes and which became another
factor destabilizzing the peace process.
