GORAN LENNMARKER: "THE NEW WAR BETWEEN ARMENIA AND AZERBAIJAN IS INCONCEIVABLE"

The 16th session of OSCE PA took place in Kiev, Ukraine. OSCE
PA President Goran Lennmarker announced in his speech: "The new
war between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as an alternative of Karabakh
conflict resolution, is inconceivable. The peaceful settlement of
Karabakh conflict will be of great benefit not only to Azerbaijan,
but also to Armenia".
Then Mr. Lennmarker touched upon the issue of refugees: "Hundred
thousands of migrants and refugees of both sides will be able to
return to their homes and restart their normal lives. With the help
of peaceful agreement Armenia and Azerbaijan, also Georgia, will be
able to build a safe, prosperous and democratic region."
According to the President of OSCE PA, the Co-Chairs of OSCE Minsk
Group have presented a draft of agreement, in which the main interests
of the participants is developed. "The document is ready for signing
by the presidents of two states. Only a political will is needed."
Mr. Lennmarker evaluated the current situation as a "golden
opportunity" for the settlement of Karabakh conflict, according to
Azerbaijani Day.az agency.
