KARABAKH POPULATION IN INFORMATION BLOCKADE ON POLLS – ARMENIAN AGENCY

Yerevan, 11 July: The Nagornyy Karabakh population "is subjected
to physiological terror by the authorities" in the context of the
forthcoming presidential election [on 19 July], Manvel Sargsyan,
an expert with the Caucasus analytical centre, has said.

Sargsyan said in Yerevan today that "the ruling regime holds Nagornyy
Karabakh society in information blockade".

He said that people get the most of their information from Armenian
TV channels, which actively cover [presidential] candidate Bako
Sahakyan’s campaign only.
