POWER HAS BEEN ALWAYS FORMED THROUGH ELECTIONS IN NKR

YEREVAN, JULY 11, NOYAN TAPAN. "The democratization processes
implemented in the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, including the forthcoming
presidential elections, make a contribution to establishment and
development of legal and civil institutions, which is an important
precondition for the peaceful settlement of the conflict." Vladimir
Karapetian, the Acting Spokesperson of the RA Foreign Ministry, said,
at the request of Radio Liberty, commenting upon the GUAM’s statement
condemning the presidential elections in NKR. In his words, these
countries make commentaries from their own mercenary considerations,
forgetting that the power in NKR has been always formed through
elections.
