VIVACELL CONQUERS 67% MOBILE COMMUNICATION MARKET DURING TWO YEARS OF ITS ACTIVITY

YEREVAN, JULY 12, NOYAN TAPAN. The VivaCell company providing mobile
communication services has made investments of more than 250m euros
during the two years of its activity. Ralf Yirikian, the company’s
Director General, reported this at the July 12 press conference
dedicated to the second anniversary of the company’s activity. In his
words, the company has already exceeded the index of 1m subscribers,
conquerring 67% of the mobile communication Armenian market.
Y. Yirikian said that the company will continue expanding its
activities by implementing investment programs in a number of economic
spheres, for instance, in the construction sphere.
According to Pierre Fattoush, the Chairman of the company’s Board of
Directors, the possibilities of company’s network have been already
enlarged for providing services to 1.5m subscribers. He said that
services of mobile technology third generation will be put into
operation soon.
It was mentioned that soon the company will release shares for its
subscribers, the number of which is not clear yet.
