Presidential Elections Due In NKR Tomorrow

PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS DUE IN NKR TOMORROW

Presidential elections will be held in the Nagorno Karabakh Republic
tomorrow. ArmInfo correspondent reports from Stepanakert that 8
Regional and 276 Precinct Electoral Commissions have been formed
over NKR territory. On the election day one precinct will be opened
at the NKR Permanent Representation in Armenia.

The number of registered voters is 91,166. International observers are
expected to arrive from Russia, Ukraine, France, Serbia, Macedonia,
Italy, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, the US, Belgium, Abkhazia,
South Ossetia, Transniestria and other countries.

A press center has been created for the journalists, which will
provide for the transparency of activity of the electoral commissions,
will work with local and foreign observers and will organize press
conferences.
