ARMENIAN TEAM RECEIVE TWO SILVER AND ONE BRONZE MEDAL IN 39TH INTERNATIONAL OLYMPIAD OF CHEMISTRY

YEREVAN, JULY 27, NOYAN TAPAN. The Armenian team received two silver
and one bronze medal in the 39th International Olympiad of Chemistry,
which was held between July 15 to 24 in Moscow, the capital of
Russia. This information was provided to a Noyan Tapan correspondent
by the RA Ministry of Science and Education.

The team, which consisted of pupils of a senior school, was haeded by
Lida Sahakian, a professor in the Yerevan State Medical University and
Artak Tovmasian, a post-graduate student of the same Higher Educational
Insitution. Samvel Bardaghchian, who is in the tenth form in Physics
and Mathematics School 1 of the RA Ministry of Education and Science
and Narek Dshkhuyan, a ninth form pupil of the "Anania Shirakatsi"
college of Yerevan, gained silver medals. Arshavir Ghahramanian,
who is in the ninth form at the "Kvant" college of Yerevan, received
a bronze medal.
