FRENCH SPECTATORS WATCH PERFORMANCE ABOUT ARMENIAN GENOCIDE

The closing ceremony of the 61st international theatre festival
was held in Avignon, France. During the festival "The Tribute to
My Memory" by Zhirair Shalian was staged. The press-service of the
Armenian Foreign Ministry reports that the performance was given
within the framework of Armenia’s Year in France.

The play was staged by French directors and only French actors played
the parts. The play is dedicated to the Armenian Genocide, sufferings
of the Armenian people, their will and striving for rebirth.
