Non-Food Commodity Prices Fall By 0.2% In Armenia In July 2007

NON-FOOD COMMODITY PRICES FALL BY 0.2% IN ARMENIA IN JULY 2007

YEREVAN, AUGUST 2, NOYAN TAPAN. A 0.2% fall in prices of non-food
commodities was registered in Armenia in July on June 2007, mainly
due to 0.3-2.1% fall in prices of cultural goods, domestic electric
appliances, jewelry, fuel, horticultural items and medicines.

According to the RA National Statistical Service, prices of clothing,
knitted wear, detergents, and stationery fell by 0.1% in the indicated
period. 0.1-0.7% price growth was registered in commodity groups of
textiles and cosmetics in July on June 2007, while the level of prices
in other commodity groups observed remained unchanged as compared
with the previous month.
