BAKU: Azeri Civilian Captured By Armenians Is Terter Resident

AZERI CIVILIAN CAPTURED BY ARMENIANS IS TERTER RESIDENT

Azerbaijani civilian captured by Armenians is 29-year old Terter
resident Anar Aliyev, APA’s Karabakh bureau reports. He was captured
by Armenians on August 2. It is not publicized how he was captured.

His parents avoid contacting media.

Representatives of International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC)
Nagorno Karabakh office today visited Azerbaijani civilian captured
by Armenians yesterday. ICRC Nagorno Karabakh office was yesterday
informed of the captured Azerbaijani civilian. The committee did
not refer to the captured Azeri, but said he is a civilian. They say
this is not in their competence. They monitored the Azeri’s detention
conditions and psychological state.

State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons
told APA that they are investigating the information.

Armenian mass media reported quoting the relevant commission of
"Nagorno Karabakh Republic" that one more Azerbaijani was captured
on August 2 and he introduced himself as Anar Aliyev.
