Regular 15th military chain with armaments has left the Russian
military base deployed in Batumi.

According to Itar-Tass reports, the chain includes 10 units of
cars, 17 trailers and other military assets with total of 200 tons
in weight. The military chain is expected to leave Georgia in mid
August. The rest of the military technology left in Batumi will be
transported to Russian Base 102 deployed in Russia and Armenian town
of Gyumri in the course of this year on four railway and one car
military chains.

Reminder: According to an arrangement between Russia and Georgia the
Russian military base in Batumi must shut in the course of 2008. The
Russian Ministry of Defense has handed over the Russian military
bases deployed on the territory of Georgia to the Georgian Ministry
of Defense in accordance with the agreement.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
