ARMENIA NEEDS COMMERCIAL SCIENCE

On August 20 the minister of trade and economic development
Nerses Yeritsyan who participated in the international congress of
astrophysics told reporters Armenia needs commercial science. According
to the minister, it is important to sustain relation between theory
and all the spheres of science, as well as to raise funds to upgrade
science in Armenia.

According to him, long-term development of science requires immense
funds.

"Today the government needs to co-fund science and at least sustain
its current level," Nerses Yeritsyan stated. He thinks it is important
to sustain the link between science and economy and apply scientific
approaches to economy.
